We started off today reading 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, as a reminder of a reason for hope.
1 Peter 3:15 ESV - "but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,"
Next up was Neopolitan Ice Cream. This was used to demonstrate how something that is one (one gallon/half gallon/container) can contain three distinct flavors. I think of God the Father as vanilla, Jesus the Son as strawberry, and the Holy Spirit as chocolate. It was a tasty illustration!

We discussed how the word "Trinity" is not found in Scripture, but if you read all of the Scripture, the doctrine is there.
We briefly touched on Modalism, Arianism, Adoptionism, and Unitarianism.
I gave each in attendance a handout entitled 'God Is Triune.' If you missed today, I have a handout for you!
