One of the streets in downtown Cork.
We stopped at a place called BarBarossa for a bite to eat. It had been a bit of a disappointment in Cork. We had gone to see the much touted English Market. First we couldn't find anywhere to park, then finally found a Court House parking garage. Then the market, which I expected to be a bunch of shops and a fun place for the girls to shop, was all food. If you are in need of a cow's tongue, or a hog's head, or fresh cut fish, or perhaps one of seven different kinds of olives for supper, this market is your place.
If I were going to cut out an excursion from our trip, it would be this one. I would go west to Killarney instead.
