You would think that Columbia, with all of its many banks, would have a plethora of choices one could purchase foreign currency from, but that is not the case. There are only a handful.
If you are not a regular bank customer, you are limited to $1,000.00 U.S. in one daily transaction. So, if you want more you can have it, but you have to go back multiple days. This is due to money laundering regulations.
Also, in Columbia at least, do not assume the person with bows in their long hair dressed like a woman is a woman.
